Boutonnières are wearable flourishes for your jacket lapel. We use petite, hardy flowers that will keep out of water for up to a day. We wire any delicate heads to ensure they remain intact, but cannot guarantee them withstanding more than 2 bro handshake-hugs. So be warned.
Traditionally, boutonnières are pinned using 2 pins that you stick from the underside of the lapel either upwards or downwards at an angle to prevent the sharp end from sticking through and possibly nicking a dance partner.*
We also offer magnetic backings if you'd prefer an easier option.
All of our boutonnières are wrapped in a dark green wired twine by default. If you must have ribbon, we offer that here for an additional fee as it is annoying to use here.
Worn flowers such as boutonnières are limited to flowers that hold up out-of-water, not to mention what is available per the market and Mother Nature. Flowers are florist's choice.
We recommend keeping your boutonnière in a refrigerator until you are ready to be adorned. They may be picked up or delivered up to 48 hours before your event if kept refrigerated.
We recommend watching a YouTube video on how to best place and pin your boutonnière, but naturally, it is up to the wearer's preference.
