Lucienne Day's designs drew on the English tradition of patterns based on plant forms transformed through her love of modern art. In turn, we were influenced by her groundbreaking textile designs to create a display of fresh flowers and foliage.

Hot pink heather, bicolor pink-orange snapdragons, dark orange double tulips climb upwards, evoking a sunrise of captivating florals. Sprigs of delicate lepidium and deep burgundy agonis enhance the wild and whimsical feel of the arrangement.

This midsized table arrangement uses a footed ceramic pot finished in a white reactive glaze. It features a midcentury inspired design and handpainted markings, making it the ideal vessel for our homage to the designer. 

Lucienne Day is celebrated for her groundbreaking textile designs, which played a pivotal role in shaping the mid-century modern aesthetic. Her bold and vibrant patterns, such as the iconic "Calyx" fabric, brought a contemporary style to post-war Britain.

Vase dimensions are 5"x 5"x 5.25". Flowers are suggestions as to what will be available for the week of Mother's Day. Our shared mother (Mother Nature) is susceptible to changes in flower availability.
